I drew Wind Waker Link for my computer graphics assignment.

My assignment:

The submission guideline:

What my code looked like after 12h of coding in a day (plus other days) (notice the lack of waves):

My submitted screenshot of my waves:

I hope my TA/professor will like it. I know half of them are video game nerds. For context: we used OpenGL for this assignment and to make tessellations for the water, you need to use patches. My code is structurally similar to my friends' and I have no idea why it's still not working, so after staring at my code for 12 hours without seeing a single change in my render, I gave up lmao

Tools: Tombow Fudenosuke for lines, Tombow dual brush pen for colours, Clip Studio Paint for clean up. I've never realised how so, so nice it is to ink with the Fudenosuke! Not to mention that it doesn't smear with the dual brush pens, unlike the Pentel sign brush pen! The Fudenosuke's ink is also darker, and it's a lot easier to create fine, thin, dark lines with it. Or maybe it's just newer, but I'm pretty sure the Pentel's black ink is still less bold than the Fudenosuke. I don't know why I was eh about the Fudenosuke as a kid. I'll be sure to use it to doodle more, now.
