Back in 2017, one of my friends and I came up with this story idea together called 'Offkey'. Its premise is that a PI and a lawyer, who used to be roommates/friends in university, are reunited by a music-related murder. I haven't drawn them for ages (since 2019!), so I wanted to see what they'd look today at like 1am!
And now at nearly 12am the next day, I wanted to get this comic down. Unlike my 14-year-old self, I now have the university experience. This is based on the time I went out of my room to scan a drawing while my roommate was going to the bathroom. We stared at each other for a couple confused seconds. It was 4am.
Callahan is the PI and my character; Henrik is the lawyer and my friend's character. It's a bit painful to show it, but here's what they looked like back in 2017.
EDIT (11 March 2025): My friend whom Henrik belongs to threw in the 3am and 6am ideas, so I drew those threw in the St Patrick's doodle since it's coming up (and now I know it's just an excuse for university students to get drunk as hell). And then, the idea for the last sticky note doodle kept eating away at me (I had it since last night). So I had to draw it just to get it out of my head to finally focus on my computer graphics assignment LMAO. But whoo more doodles!
